Terms of Service

Effective date: March 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Weltrop platform ("Service"), operated at weltrop.com. By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Weltrop is a WhatsApp automation platform for hotels. It enables hotels to manage guest communication, web check-ins, food and beverage orders, service requests, and post-stay feedback — all through WhatsApp and a web-based staff dashboard. Weltrop connects to Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API to send and receive messages on behalf of hotels.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by hotel operators and hospitality businesses registered in India. By registering, you represent that you are authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business.

3. Hotel (Business) Responsibilities

Hotels using Weltrop are responsible for:

Providing accurate guest data at check-in, including names and WhatsApp numbers.
Compliance with all applicable local, state, and national laws, including hotel registration regulations, the Foreigners Act, 1946, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).
Maintaining their own WhatsApp Business Account and ensuring it remains in good standing with Meta's policies.
Obtaining any necessary consents from guests for WhatsApp communication, as required by law.
Keeping their login credentials confidential and notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access.
Ensuring that the content they configure (e.g. menu items, FAQ answers) complies with applicable laws and does not contain false, misleading, or unlawful material.

4. Guest Consent

By interacting with a hotel's WhatsApp number powered by Weltrop (e.g. by responding to a message, placing an order, or making a service request), guests consent to their WhatsApp messages being processed for the purpose of delivering hotel services. Guests may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to guests or any other parties.
Violate Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy or WhatsApp's terms of service.
Process data of guests who have not stayed at your hotel or given consent.
Engage in any fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful activities.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or otherwise tamper with the Service.

Weltrop reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without notice.

6. Payment and Subscription

The Service is offered at ₹4,999 per hotel per month.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial.
After the trial, a valid payment method is required to continue using the Service.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to hotel operators by email.

7. Cancellation

Hotels may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting admin@weltrop.com.
On cancellation, the Service will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
After cancellation, hotel data is retained for 90 days to allow data export, then permanently deleted.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, and content forming part of the Weltrop platform is the intellectual property of Weltrop. Hotels are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service during their active subscription. This licence does not include the right to copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

Weltrop provides a technology platform and is not responsible for the quality of services delivered by any hotel using the platform. We are not liable for:

Disputes between guests and hotels.
Any loss or damage arising from a hotel's failure to comply with applicable laws.
Service interruptions caused by Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, power outages, or other third-party infrastructure failures.
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Our total liability to any hotel in any month shall not exceed the subscription fee paid by that hotel in that month.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Weltrop makes no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage disputes to be resolved amicably by contacting us first at admin@weltrop.com.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to hotel operators by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
